What made you feel like you were ready to become a dad?
-I still don’t aha . I don’t think anyone is ever really ready to be a dad but I know I love all of my nieces and nephews so much that I felt as though it was time to have my own.
What were you feeling when you found out you were going to be a daddy of twins?
-Confused, excited, nervous. Immediately I felt as though if anyone can handle twins it was us, it felt surreal but I was also excited about bringing two babies in to the world at the same time. I was worried about you because you were so small carrying two babies. I also enjoyed calling my family to tell them that there wasn’t just one heartbeat … but two.
What are your thoughts on them being identical boys ?!
-They better be good looking. I hope they don’t get my athletic skills and are better than me. Other than that I was thrilled and so happy. I felt so strongly they were boy/girl fraternal twins and when I found out they were identical I was scared shit because I was so shocked and the thought of two girls was terrifying. Needless to say, I cried at work when I found out they were two boys.
What is your favorite and least favorite part of me being pregnant?
-My favorite part is your happiness and glow, you are enjoying every minute of your pregnancy, even the shitty parts. My least favorite is the unknown and the what ifs and all the complications that can occur with a twin pregnancy.
Are you ready to see a birth?
-Hell yeah! I have been looking up videos of births online just to prepare myself.
We all know your super excited to be a dad , but lets get juicy .. what are your biggest fears and concerns?
-My biggest fears is that they are going to be dicks. In all seriousness, birthing complications and them coming out healthy.
One thing you would like to instill in to your children as you raise them.
-Respect others, kill them with kindness, be you and don’t let anyone change you.. except for me and your mother. You can achieve anything you put your mind to. Stand up for what you believe in .. and above all, family is everything………and daddy is always right, not mommy aha.
Lets leave on a tear jerker… What does it mean to you , to be a father?
-Passing on all the great things my family instilled in me, being able to bring some happiness in to the world during terrible times, and having something else to pour my heart in to fully. I want to teach them everything I know and watch them grow in to their own people.
